Lago is Portugees voor ‘meer’, waar de Braziliaanse ontwerper Heitor Lobo Campos zijn inspiratie vond. Hij roeit drie keer per week op het Paranoámeer. “Ik ben gefascineerd door hoe het water beweegt — of het nu een stille dag is met spiegelglad water of een winderige dag waarop je nauwelijks kunt roeien,” zegt hij. Hij ontwierp de kap van Lago om een watermassa te simuleren die rond een cilinder is gewikkeld. Deze lamp is gemaakt voor mensen die houden van strakke, minimalistische esthetiek — met een vleugje karakter.
